We welcomed Lindsay Johnson a Nutritionist from the NHS who gave us a fantastic lesson on various ways to eat healthier. We looked at the amount of sugar in a variety of products, please look at the table below, you might be surprised. We also learnt about cutting down the amount of fat in our diets by eating different types of food to replace those higher in fat, check the table below to check the fat content of some common foods.







Surprised then you might not believe the differences in the different milks, for a 1/3rd of a pint of
whole milk = 8g fat
semi-skimmed = 3g
skimmed = 0.2g

All the students enjoyed the session so thanks to Lindsay, they all left with a packet of raisins.
